This week was very busy for everyone at Sir Henry, Bishop's Stortford. We had over 170 students here from all over the world - from Japan to Turkmenistan to Saudi Arabia.
There were lots of big events run this week in addition to our normal schedule of activities, including a talent show, the big quiz, the disco and punting on the River Cam.
The talent show featured acts that were either prepared in advance or were made alongside the Activity Officers Sam and Emma-Jane. There was an excellent range of acts, including singing, dancing, magic tricks, guitar, piano playing and other talents. We were all witness to an amazing evening of entertainment in the style of "Britain's Got Talent". Tom, the House Manager for Thames, hosted alongside David, the Canterbury House Manager who was playing "Davidella" for the evening. Davidella even did a small Lady Gaga dance!

The winners of the talent show received a Studio Cambridge teddy bear - congratulations to Svetlana and Kate for their amazing gymnastics routine!
There was also the weekly disco, which was a great success.
The Big Quiz also ran this week, an 8 round extravaganza of general knowledge, culture and sporting questions. There were even a few about our members of staff!
